Jesse is counsel of record in more than 130 trade remedy matters and lead counsel in numerous high-profile international trade and customs cases litigated before Canadian courts and tribunals.
He has been at the forefront of international trade issues affecting businesses and governments in Asia for more than 20 years, and advises global clients on trade policy, market access, and trade compliance matters. He regularly appears before the Canadian International Trade Tribunal, the Federal Court of Canada, and the Federal Court of Appeal.
Jesse has served as Chair of the International Trade Committee of the Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) since 2017. He is a Canadian delegate to the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Commission on Customs and Trade Facilitation and the Business Investment Advisory Committee (BIAC) China Task Force Working Group.
