Victoria has a broad corporate practice, and often acts as an outside general counsel for clients. She advises for-profit and not-for-profit clients on a wide range of issues including corporate governance, restructurings, transactions, incorporations and the negotiation and drafting of agreements.

Many of her clients are leaders in a wide range of industries and sectors, including member and trade associations, post-secondary institutions, foundations and charities. 

She also advises on contests, advertising and marketing.

Within BLG, Victoria is the National Leader of the Charities and Not-For-Profit Law Group, a member of the firm's Corporate Commercial, Corporate Governance and Education Groups and a member of the firm's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) initiative.

Victoria provides legal services through a Law Corporation.



  • Reviewing and revising the constitution, governance structure and strategic planning for national charities.
  • Assisting on unifications of organizations.
  • Guiding associations through contentious governance reviews.
  • Providing advice on succession planning.
  • Updating and developing updated policies and procedures for academic institutions.
  • Advising clients in a variety of industries on advertising to ensure legislative compliance.
  • Preparing and reviewing promotional contests for fulfilment houses as well as clients directly.
  • Advising multinationals on the establishment of businesses in Canada.
