Tim is an articling student at BLG’s Calgary office.
Before his law degree, Tim completed a mathematics and business double degree in Waterloo, Ontario and then worked in human resources as a compensation advisor in Toronto. In law school, Tim was president of the local Runnymede Society chapter, founded and led the Law & Tech student club, served on the Law Students’ Association executive, and acted as an editor for the Saskatchewan Law Review. Tim earned the common law in French certificate, completing ten courses entirely in French. Tim competed in the Canadian National Negotiation Competition, the Bowman National Tax Moot, and the Michel Bastarache Moot on constitutional language rights (in French), receiving two awards along the way.
Tim first joined BLG as a summer student in 2020. Having met and worked with a variety of people at BLG, Tim knows he is right at home in a culture that celebrates each team member’s uniqueness while relentlessly delivering excellent work to our clients.
Outside of work, Tim enjoys stand-up comedy, playing recreational team sports, experimenting with fad diets, nerding out about public law, and playing too much Sudoku.
