Andrew's practice focuses on surety and construction law. He advises and represents sureties, owners, contractors and other companies across Canada on:
- Bonding issues and bond claims;
- Construction disputes and litigation;
- Liens and lien litigation;
- Drafting and negotiating contracts; and
- Procurement and development issues
Andrew's surety experience includes bond claims of any size or complexity. He works with clients as their day-to-day advisor for all bonding issues. A large part of Andrew's surety practice also includes proactive risk mitigation planning, as well as pursuing rights of recovery.
Andrew also has a general construction law practice for issues arising between owners (both public and private), contractors and subcontractors. His construction practice includes litigation and all aspects of contract drafting and negotiation.
Andrew also lends his expertise by sitting on the Surety Association of Canada, Ontario Regional Committee and instructing a Construction & Surety Law course at McMaster University for the Associateship of Canadian Surety Bonding program.
